Why vinyl flooring?
Domestic Vinyl floors are hard wearing, come in a very large range of colours and textures such a wood, stone, tiles, flat colours, metals and glass. They are easy to clean, last a long time and are economical.
What is vinyl floor made from?
Vinyl is a synthetic, man-made substance made from a special type of plastic called polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Vinyl flooring retains it's elasticity upon impact and gives a slight 'bounce' to a floor, making it a comfortable surface to walk on.
Vinyl or lino?
Vinyl is cheaper to buy and 75% cheaper to fit. It deals with moisture better and won't expand and contract with temperature changes. For most domestic installations vinyl is probably the right choice.
